Orr's Rifles CDV

$1,025.17

Here is a CDV of an ID’ed member of South Carolina’s famous Orr’s Rifles! This is a Captain Fairlee who served early on with the regiment. However, like so many in the Civil War, he would succumb to disease in 1862. This is a wonderful image. As you can see, the men of Orr’s Rifles had a very unique uniform. Their coats had dark green facings, a tribute to the Jeagers of Europe, and the officers had a special vertical stripe running up from the cuffs to show their rank. This was an interesting oversight/misunderstanding in regards to Confederate regulations on sleeve braids. Price shown does not include shipping. Prices are negotiable.
